The 2nd Borneo Death March Ultra Marathon will see runners cover the entire 250 kilometre route from Sandakan to Ranau over seven days in a six stage race. Runners will be exposed to spartan conditions throughout the week, sleeping in remote villages and experiencing just a fraction of what the prisoners of war (POW) went through towards the end of the war in 1945. Over 2500 POWs perished during the infamous Borneo death marches.  The race is limited to 100 participants so early registration is advised to avoid disappointment.

A statewide art selection program to add to the existing collection at the Sabah Art Gallery. Artists are encouraged to submit their works. Entry forms are available at the Sabah Art Gallery and all submission centres throughout Sabah.

This prelude to the statewide Harvest Festival celebration is a superbly entertaining cultural extravanganza that incorporates dance, music, fashion, food and more. Sabah Fest 2016 presents a wonderful blend of cultural and natural heritage that is richly embedded in folklore and one of Sabah's premiere events.
