This potential will be put to advantage by BNP by developing its product range. In view of that, BNP will put in more effort at strengthening the company’s capacity and capability in various aspects, including expertise and skills of its workers, application of a more efficient processing technology and effective marketing strategies.
In September 2006, the company has obtained the Halal certification for its premise and products from Jabatan Hal Ehwal Agama Islam Negeri Sabah (JHEAINS). BNP is currently in the process of obtaining the MS ISO 9001:2000 certification in collaboration with SIRIM Berhad as consultant. With assistance from MeCD and SIRIM Berhad through the “Groom Big” program, BNP is also in the process of improving its product quality through branding, packaging, labelling and improving its product and marketing promotional materials.
As a new entrant in the food and beverage industry, BNP will ensure that the quality of its products will continuously be improved so that the company can compete successfully in the local and also global market.
